Where To Stay?

Hello everybody!
I hope you are having a good day. Today's topic is where to stay at the Bay of Edremit. I am usually going to talk about cheaper ones. Let's start.

There are many options for places to stay. If you are interested in staying in a traditional boutique hotel and eating organic foods, you can find the best ones. But you should be willing to pay more money.
If you are looking for cheaper ones but you still want to eat good food, you can find yours.

You can stay in "Turizm ve Otelcilik Lisesi Uygulama Otelleri". It means practice schools for students of tourism but they are also learning how to work in hotels, how to service, how to treat the guests of hotel and/or make money calculations. They are studying and learning at the same time. I stayed twice in these hotels, one time in Ayvalık and one time in Burhaniye. The food was good, the rooms were tidy and our school paid less than what the other hotels that we were going to stay in would have cost. It was comfortable. It's worth it to stay there.

You can also stay in boutique hotels, hotels, hostels or apartments for rent. It is up to your wallet and time that you will come. If you organize them before your arrival, it will be cheaper and easy to find rooms.

You can click on these links if you want to get more information.

Information About Mount Ida

Hello everybody!

In Greek mythology, two sacred mountains are called Mount Ida, the "mountain of the goddess". There are two parts of it: Mount Ida in Crete and Mount Ida in the ancient Troad region of Western Anatolia. But our topic is the second one, Mount Ida in Anatolia.

Mount Ida means Goose Mountain in Turkish. It is a mountain in northwestern Turkey, some 20 miles southeast of the ruins of Tray, along the north coast of the Gulf of Edremit. The name Mount Ida is the ancient one. It is between the Çanakkale and Balıkesir provinces.

Mount Ida is protected by Kaz Dağı National Park. And they can make a guided tour if you want.

Deer, wild boars and jackals are common at the area.

Wolves, lynx, brown bears and big cats once roamed there, but they disappeared because of overhunting.

Mount Ida is perfect for relaxing and refreshing, and also escaping from the exhaustive life.

Have a good day!
